Admitted to XX Seoul Hospital for examination.

MRI, PET CT, bronchoscopic examination,

Biopsy (percutaneous needle biopsy)

Results: Stage 4 lung cancer (non-small cell adenocarcinoma), with 1cm brain metastasis and minor lymph node metastasis.

Surgery was deemed impossible; only chemotherapy (Iressa) was considered feasible.

The doctor recommended Gamma Knife therapy for the brain metastasis, warning that without it, severe vomiting and headaches would occur within a month.

The hospital estimated a survival period of 6 months to 1 year.

Decided against chemotherapy and radiation therapy and was discharged at 9 PM on the 21st.

Before Starting OHP

With stage 4 lung cancer, it was difficult to breathe, and coughing disrupted sleep. My arm pain made even washing my face challenging, though I could still move without significant limitations.

First Day of Starting OHP

After taking AlphaSeal and beginning the OHP, I slept deeply without coughing. In the morning, there was only a slight cough.

Even while out in the mountains, I noticed that the sensation of breathlessness just before exhaling had significantly lessened. I also slept better than I did the night before!

Slept Well Without Waking Up at Dawn

I had a restful sleep without waking up in the early morning. Today, I noticed relief in the tightness in my chest and the chronic pain in my right arm, which had been a problem since the accident. My eyes, which always felt fatigued and made it difficult to read even with magnifying glasses in the evening, now feel clear enough that I can read comfortably. It’s such a noticeable improvement!

While Stretching,I noticed that my right arm felt better than it did yesterday, with increased strength. While lying on my back with a neck pillow for five minutes, I experienced less discomfort in my lungs. Previously, taking deep breaths in this position had been quite challenging!

Shalom! I woke up briefly at dawn but then had a truly restful sleep—something I haven’t experienced in a long time. I even slept in until after 8 a.m. this morning! I’m filled with gratitude for the blessings in my life, accompanied by gracious hymns. Yesterday, my arm felt significantly less painful, and I was able to go out. My coughing has nearly disappeared, and I didn’t cough at all while sleeping last night!

One Week Summary

Today marks the eighth day! Each day has brought small, gradual improvements, but today, for the first time, I slept deeply without coughing at all and even slept in. During morning exercises, including Rev. Noh Wan-woo’s health techniques such as using a neck pillow and rolling movements, I found it much easier to take deep breaths. Even the sharp pain in my chest area has eased! I told my family that it feels like I’ve gained the upper hand against cancer, which made everyone laugh.

These small daily improvements have now become undeniably significant overall. My right arm, which used to hurt so much and was diagnosed with a 5.6 cm lesion on the lung (suggested to be metastasis), has gotten remarkably better. I couldn’t even wring a dishcloth, let alone wash my face by bringing both hands behind my head. But now, it’s astonishing how much I’ve regained strength and mobility.

I live each day full of gratitude and joy, and I feel like even the cancer itself must be surprised by this progress. In God’s grace, I’ve grown to love my family even more. We are experiencing His meticulous care in all the areas where we were lacking, and I am overwhelmed by His extraordinary love. Shalom! ♥♥

How can I possibly express my gratitude in words? I earnestly wish to become a purer person before God and for my entire family to change and grow continuously. I feel completely disarmed and overwhelmed by God’s infinite love. My husband suggested visiting the hillside near where we used to live, and we enjoyed a refreshing walk, breathing deeply and freely on our way back.

Last night, I didn’t cough at all, though I did cough slightly this morning. My eyes feel much less strained, and most wonderfully, I no longer feel fear or anxiety. My family even teases me, asking, “Are you really the person with a terminal diagnosis?” Yes, I am! Even I find it hard to believe how calm and happy I feel.

How could God love someone as lacking and inadequate as me so deeply?

I also pray for everyone dedicated to the OHP, expressing my heartfelt appreciation. ♥♥♥

One thing I’m especially grateful for is that my husband and I acted early, decided to follow OHP, and kept our decision firm without telling anyone. While close friends were initially worried, they eventually respected our choice. Later on, they even told me they would’ve made the same decision in my shoes, which was incredibly reassuring.

Today, something feels different as I take a deeeeep breath!

I honestly feel like that thing has shrunk! Really! When I told my daughter, she laughed and asked, “How much smaller do you think it got?” Haha, we had a good laugh about it.

Anyway, the tightness in my chest feels noticeably different today!

I’ve been repeatedly taking deep breaths as I write this, and it’s truly amazing!

Deacon!

Today, I was able to take a very deep breath and hold it without experiencing lung pain. I’d say my pain has improved by about 95%! Honestly, I’ve been feeling a bit tired lately with so much to pray for.

I often wake up at dawn, tossing and turning in prayer for two or three hours before falling back asleep. Then I get up around 7:30–8:00 a.m. to take my medication. It feels like God is constantly prompting me to pray—whether it’s for the salvation of souls, healing from wounds in marriages, or the restoration of Christian families on the brink of divorce. He keeps bringing people in need of prayer to my attention, and sometimes I feel like my strength is not enough.

Yet, strangely, despite the physical exhaustion, I feel my body improving day by day, and I am filled with gratitude.
